Cultures around the world have been eating fermented foods for thousands of years, from Sauerkraut in Germany to Kimichi in Korea and everywhere in between. Studies have shown there may be a link between probiotic rich foods and overall health. Many companies use chemicals to speed up the fermentation time, but NOT Divine Living. We produced certified organic vegetables the old fashion way – tightly packed vegetables in large ceramic crocks.
Our foods go through a process in which natural bacteria feed on the sugar and starch in the food over time, creating lactic acid. This process preserves the food.
Natural fermentation of foods has also been shown to preserve nutrients in food and break the food down to a more digestible form.
